OLUWATOPE OLASAN (B.Sc., ACCA, ACA)
Oluwatope Olasan (B.Sc., ACCA, ACA) is the Managing Partner of our firm. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. Currently, he is pursuing an MBA with Nexford University.
Oluwatope is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Affiliate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS).
With over 12 years of professional experience, Oluwatope began his career as an audit trainee at the firm of Abiodun Oredein & Co., Chartered Accountants in 2008. He then moved on to Benson Ekeleme & Co., where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant while serving as an Audit Senior.
Throughout his career, Oluwatope has held various positions of responsibility. He served as the Financial Controller at Rockshield MFB Ltd from 2009 to 2012. Later, he joined Cornerstone Savings & Loans Ltd as the Head of Financial Control & Strategy from 2012 to 2014. Subsequently, he worked at Mikhail Olatunde & Co. as a Manager in charge of Audit Services before joining BM&CO. Professional Services as a Senior Manager of Audit Services in February 2017.
Oluwatope’s expertise spans a wide range of consultancy services, including audit, finance, banking, investments, management, and taxation services. He has successfully led significant projects, such as being the Team Leader in the FIRS Audit of Bank Receipts and Remittances of FCMB Plc in 2014. Additionally, he has been involved in the Post-Monitoring Exercise of Micro Finance Banks for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
